I am Jessica Von Rondon, a Brazilian contemporary artist based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. I create original hand-painted artworks with layered texture, sculptural detail, and emotional depth. My journey with painting began in 2018, born from a personal need to create something meaningful with my own hands. What started as an intimate outlet slowly became a dedicated artistic path, shaped by movement, material, memory, and feeling.
The Craft Behind the Canvas
My work is deeply tactile. I do not simply paint flat images. I build surfaces, moods, and visual stories through layers of acrylic, textured paste, sculpted details, natural forms, and delicate touches of gold leaf.
Each painting evolves intuitively. I allow the materials to guide the movement, balancing structure with softness, geometry with organic texture, and strength with serenity. The result is a one-of-a-kind original artwork created to bring presence, atmosphere, and quiet luxury into a space.
Life, Focus, and Intentionality
Beyond the studio, my life is beautifully full. I am a mother of two, including a wonderful son with autism, and my creative time is deeply precious. My hours in the studio are limited, but that limitation has shaped the way I create.
Every brushstroke, every sculpted layer, and every detail is placed with intention. My time does not restrict my art. It refines it. It brings focus, honesty, and emotional clarity into every canvas I complete.
